Inês Gomes has a degree in Biology (2004), a Master's degree in Georesources (2008), and a PhD in History and Philosophy of Sciences from the University of Lisbon (2015). She is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow of ReSEED, a research project led by historian Dulce Freire, based at Universidade de Coimbra (University of Coimbra), and funded by the European Research Council.
